HardTrack Cloud Sensor Health:
Managing the health of your HardTrack Cloud Sensors can be challenging, especially in cases where you have a large number of devices :
HardTrack emails a daily Health Report, which includes the health of all your devices that are currently Logging on projects. What if you want to look at all of your devices to see their battery status and current signal strength?
The current battery strength is affected by ambient temperature. In colder weather, you may see your devices' battery strength drop as the temperature drops and rise as the temperature rises. This is normal behavior. The chemical reaction that occurs within the batteries is affected by temperature.
.
Starting with version 5.1._01.10, within HardTrack Desktop, you can click on CloudDevice, then Health, to view the health of your devices.
You do not have to have a Project open to view CloudDevice Health and the screen that appears can be left open while you work on your HardTrack Projects.
You will see the Battery and Signal Strength on the Last Log of the Last Project that a Device was used on as well as the Current Battery and Signal Strength:
To view devices that are current Logging on projects, click Logging:
To view devices that are not Logging on projects, click Not:
You can view All in_progress & All Switch/Exchange commands using the provided buttons.
You can leave the screens that appear open and return to either the Health screen or the Project that you are working on.
The HardTrack Cloud Server will update the Last Log and Current, Battery & Signal Strength for all Logging projects, every few minutes.
To retrieve the latest information for your device or a few devices, select them and press Get Last Log, to retrieve any new Last Log information or Get Current to retrieve the current system status of the battery and signal strength of your selected devices.
You can view the Device Status for a selected device by selecting a device and clicking on the Device Status button:
You can view the Summary report from either the Device Status or Health screen. When you select a row on the screen, if there is a project in that row, the Summary button will appear.
If you would like to view the information in a different order than Device Name, just click on any column heading. Click twice for reverse order.
