How to run HardTrack Desktop as Administrator

Please follow these instructions to run HardTrack Desktop as administrator.  If you do not have Administrator Authority on your PC, you will need to contact your IT Support to complete this task.  When HardTrack runs as administrator, it will check to see if it needs to update things like the Firewall or settings in Services that HardTrack requires to run properly. 

To run HardTrack Desktop as administrator in Windows 10

Close HardTrack Desktop if you have it open

The simplest way to run a program in administrative mode is to right-click the HardTrack icon on the Desktop and select “Run as administrator”

Alternatively, if you find HardTrack in the list of your installed programs by first clicking on the Windows icon, right click HardTrack Desktop, then click on More and select “Run as administrator”

To run HardTrack Desktop as administrator in Windows 11

Close HardTrack Desktop if you have it open

Click on the Windows icon and start to type HardTrack, when the HardTrack Desktop icon appears, click on Run as administrator
