How to Run the Thermal Control Tracking Reports

How to Run the Thermal Control Tracking Reports

Starting with version 5.1._02.16 of HardTrack Desktop, there is the option to Export Data from HardTrack to Excel to generate the Thermal Control Tracking Reports.

To run the reports, you do not have to have any projects open in HardTrack Desktop.  Click on Project, Export Data, Thermal Control Tracking Reports:

If the default report settings are used, an Excel Workbook will be generated that contains a separate Worksheet for each Project Segment defined within HardTrack.  The default report Time is set in the Advanced Settings for HardTrack, in the Config Settings option, for example, 7:00 Hrs.  This tells HardTrack to export each Logging Project within a Segment with temperature readings at 7:00 Hrs for the current date.

If you would rather generate a separate Workbook for each Project Segment, select one of the Segment Names from the Dropdown list and then click Excel Export:

The default options that are checked, include:

Review new projects when added
If a logging project has never been reported on a previous run of the Thermal Control Tracking Report, you will be prompted with the project settings for that project, giving you the opportunity to edit the default settings, such as Required Curing Days, Size, Action/Notes, and Possible Non-Conformance.  If this is unchecked, the user will not be prompted when a new project is added to the report for the first time.

Add Hyperlinks to Dashboard and Summary
HardTrack will add a link to each project's online Summary Report and a link to the Project Segment Dashboard.  You will be able to click on the Project Name/Pour ID to see the Summary Report for that HardTrack Project.  To view the Dashboard for the Project Segment, click on the Segment Name at the top of the report.  If this is unchecked, no hyperlinks will be added to the report.

Include Logging Projects Only
Only HardTrack Projects that are actively logging temperatures will be included in the report.  If this is unchecked, only projects that are not actively logging temperatures will be included within the report.

If you would like to be prompted to review and/or update the Actions / Notes and/or the Possible Non-Conformance notes, Check:

This is a very easy way to update the Notes for each project without needing to open each of them up within HardTrack Desktop.

If you would like to run the report for a date and time, other than the current date at the default Report Run Time, you can select your preferred date and time as follows:

Additional information will be added to this document on the Thermal Control Tracking Report configuration settings.  In the meantime, you can view these settings by clicking on Project, Advanced Settings
