How to Start Logging and Stop Logging for HTC or HTC II Devices

When you are ready to start logging for a HardTrack Project for the 1st time or to restart logging again:

Open the Project.
Double click on one of the sensors
Click on Restart Logging
When more than one device is set up in a HardTrack Project, you will be asked if you wish to start all devices associated with the project, click yes to start all devices and sensors set up in a project.

All devices check in every 24 hours at approximately 9:00 pm EST/6:00 pm PST. 
If you have sent Start Logging commands prior to this time, they will be automatically picked up and the devices will start logging. 
You can also swipe the magnet at any time after the command has been sent to cause the devices to pick up the start logging command immediately.

If you would like to stop logging temperature data for a HardTrack Project, do the following:

Open project in HardTrack Desktop.
Double click on one of the sensors
Click on Stop Logging
When more than one device is set up in a HardTrack Project, you will be asked if you wish to stop all devices associated with the project, click yes to stop all devices and sensor set up in the project.

The next time the device(s) connect to upload temperature data it will pick up the stop logging command and turn off. 
You can also swipe the devices with the magnet at any time after the command has been sent to cause the stop logging command to be processed right away.
