How to update HardTrack Mobile on a Handheld Device to a new version
2) Place your Mobile Device in the Docking Station and attach the USB cable so that the Mobile Device can communicate with your PC which is running HardTrack Desktop.
Please make sure that the Windows Mobile Device Center is running.
3) On your Mobile Device, please exit from HardTrack Mobile.
4) On your PC, Start HardTrack Desktop and Click on Project, Upgrade Device, HardTrack Mobile
5) If you have previously installed HardTrack Mobile version 3._06.64 or later on your handheld device, just click on the HardTrack icon on the handheld to complete the upgrade. HardTrack Mobile will prompt you to allow a Cold Boot to be performed which will Update HardTrack Mobile.
Note: If you are using an older version of HardTrack Mobile, after the new version of HardTrack Mobile has been placed onto your Mobile Device through HardTrack Desktop, Please Cold Boot your Mobile Device by Clicking on the Windows Icon in the Lower left of the Display ON YOUR MOBILE device (not on your PC), Click on Shutdown, Cold Rest Device through HardTrack Desktop, Please Cold Boot your Mobile Device by Clicking on the Windows Icon in the Lower left of the Display ON YOUR MOBILE device (not on your PC), Click on Shutdown, Cold Rest.
When you 1st attempt to run HardTrack Mobile after applying an upgrade and after restarting your handheld with a Cold Restart, you may be required to restart the handheld (1) additional time to complete the upgrade. If this is necessary, HardTrack will request that you restart the handheld when you initially start HardTrack Mobile. Please select Cold Reset to complete the restart of your handheld device.
Following the upgrade, you will need to set up the Handheld again so that you can use the Device Mirror to access the handheld using the monitor, keyboard and mouse on your PC while running HardTrack Desktop.
