The HardTrack Diagnostics Tool is intended for checking on the current status of HTC or HTC II devices (HTC device). Here are some examples of why you would use this tool:
- You want to know if a particular device has sufficient battery power to be used on a new concrete pour that is scheduled.
o this feature allows you to check on the status of a device without the need to create a HardTrack Project.
- You want to know if a particular device has a good signal strength if you place it in a particular location at the job site.
o this feature allows you to check on the status of a device without the need to create a HardTrack Project.
- After starting logging on a concrete pour, one of your sensors is not showing up or it is reporting temperatures that do not make sense.
o You can use this tool to see if you move the sensor to a different port if it reports temperatures that make sense, confirming that the sensor is okay and that your HTC device might have a port issue.
o You can use this tool to see if a backup sensor connected to an open port on the device, but not added to your project, is reporting temperatures that make sense, confirming that the issue with your active sensor is most likely a damaged sensor.
- Now just add the backup sensor to your HardTrack Project and delete the sensor that is bad.
No need to physically work with the HTC device and you will not have to swipe the device, because the backup sensor has been attached to the HTC device since the beginning of the pour and it has been reporting its temperatures behind the scenes all along.
