Prior to installation, the battery should be inspected for any signs of damage. If the battery appears to be damaged or is dropped during the installation, do not use the battery and dispose of it properly.

When the HTC II device is installed in C1D2 environments, flammable gas environments, do not disconnect the battery until the environment around the HTC II is vented or known to be free of any flammable gas concentrations.

1. Open the enclosure.

2. Disconnect the battery.
