1) The HardTrack Desktop app connects to the HardTrack Database:
www.myhardtrack.net on port 3306 for bidirectional access to MySQL using TCP and UDP.
2) When HardTrack Desktop sends commands to the IoT devices, HardTrack Cloud Sensors, used with the HardTrack system, HardTrack Desktop connects to this server:

The following are the instructions for installing the HardTrack Desktop app software on a Windows PC:
You will need Windows Administrative authority to install HardTrack on your PC.1) You will receive an invitation from customer_care@wakeinc.com to join a shared Dropbox folder. Please accept this invitation.If you need access to the shared Dropbox folder that contains the HardTrack Desktop Installation software. Please contact Wake, Inc.2) copy the folder named: HardTrack Desktop 5.X._XX.XX Install to your PC, for example into the downloads folder.3) after copying the installation folder to your computer, open it and double click on setup.exe- you will be prompted to accept the license agreement during the installation process.4) after the installation is complete,
If your environment allows the use and updating of the local firewall, please do the following:locate the HardTrack software icon in the Windows start menu, then right-click on the HardTrack Icon and run the software are Administrator- This will allow HardTrack to update the Local Firewall on your PC, so that HardTrack can access the HardTrack Cloud Database and communicate with the HardTrack Cloud Sensor II (HTC II) devices.-You may have to check the Update PC Firewall in Options, General Options, click Okay, close HardTrack and run it again as Administrator to update the Windows Firewall
Note: if your Company network has a policy in place that does not allow updating the Windows Firewall, you may have to un-check the Update Firewall to stop HardTrack Desktop from Attempting to update it each time you start HardTrack.To turn off the check of Updating the Firewall in HardTrack, click on Options, General Options, then un-check Update Firewall, then click OKThen Click OKYou may need to grant authorization to HardTrack Desktop (C:\Program Files (x86)\Wake, Inc\HardTrack\HardTrack.UI.exe) in the network firewall allowing:TCP (Microsoft Protocol 6) on all Local and Remote portsUDP (Microsoft Protocol 17) on all Local and Remote ports
5) as soon as HardTrack loads, before attempting to use any other options in the software, click on Options, General Options, Check Now- this will update HardTrack to the latest release, 5.1._02.40 or higher, which supports all of the functions available for the HTC II devices.- you may be prompted regarding an update that needs to be applied to the update software, please accept this.
